Second Trade Center Tower Collapses After Attack
NEW YORK (Reuters) - The second of the two World Trade
Center towers collapsed Tuesday morning, about half an hour
after the first of the twin towers crashed to earth following
an attack by two planes on the complex, according to live
television.
The collapse of the two structures left lower Manhattan
engulfed in smoke and debris. The towers were struck by two
airplanes in short succession earlier Tuesday morning.
